Come see a brilliant array of Agate Design Jewelry this Friday, July 13th from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Youth In Arts Shop and Gallery, 917 C St. (between Third and Fourth) in downtown San Rafael.

And don’t forget to bring your friends and family so everyone can enjoy the Gallery reception for ”Art in Action!” presented by artist Suzanne Joyal’s preschool kids in a fun, interactive environment. Be sure not to miss the crawl-through Texture Dome!

The YIA Shop regularly features an exciting collection of Agate Design Jewelry as well as works by other mentor artists who help YIA bring visual and performing arts education and events to Marin County schools.  At least 30% of all proceeds benefit YIA programs so come visit, shop and enjoy all the great artwork!  For more information about YIA programs visit http://www.youthinarts.org/.

I so enjoyed showing you what I’ve been working on these past few months.  This year has been challenging with gold and silver prices going through the roof, but it’s broadened my view on what I can use to keep making beautiful jewelry for you, and that’s a good thing!

Special thanks to my two dear friends, Liz McDonough and Joan Harvey who did all the hard work while I got the chance to visit!

I’m making an early New Year’s resolution to keep my website postings more current in 2012, so please stay tuned.

Thanks to all of you for making the 2009 Agate Design Jewelry Holiday Show a huge success, and special thanks to my good friends Joan and Liz for all their help and support.
